Tuesday Feb 26, 2019
Tuesday Feb 26, 2019
This time, Chris and Christin are joined by a very special guest, stand-up comic (and Harbinger of Joy) Jenn Snyder! The trio discuss Jenn’s favorite horror flick, The Descent, and furiosuly argue over such questions as “Did these girls have brunch?”; “Who is the hottest of the spelunkers?” (Jenn only); and “Is The Descent a metaphor for, like, the subconscious and stuff??” Also, Christin tries tells a true Appalachian crime story but is attacked by a damn cave monster!

Hereditary and Joseph Mitchell: Cluck!
Wednesday Feb 13, 2019
Wednesday Feb 13, 2019
Hail Paimon! After much teasing, Christin and Chris finally discuss Hereditary, the scariest movie of 2018! Probing questions include 1) What is the plot of Hereditary? 2) What are primary colors? (Chris only) and 3) Gabriel Byrne? Your hosts then award all 2019 Academy Awards to Toni Collette. Finally, Christin terrifies Chris with a true story of sleepwalking gone wrong in the trial against Joseph Mitchell from 2010.
It may go without saying, but listeners be warned, this is a disturbing movie and Christin brings up some disturbing true cases that the movie made her think of.

Tuesday Jan 01, 2019
Tuesday Jan 01, 2019
On this minisode Chris and Christin discuss their shared love of The X-Files and the origins of it. They then dive into one of the most infamous horror X-Files episodes, Home. They delve into questions about whether or not it was actually banned, locking your doors, and elbow room. They also discuss why some of the best X-Files jokes are in such a horrific episode, why this was probably the easiest case to solve for Mulder and Scully and so much more! Then Christin tells Chris about some of the true stories that inspired the writers of Home. Mainly the story of the Ward brothers and the death of Bill Ward, documented in the movie Brother's Keeper.

They discuss manic pixie dream girls, a possible new horror movie troupe and the power of grief. Then Christin shares the crazy story of the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries cult and makes Chris question what Michael Jackson knew. Get some of your best wine and enjoy.
